Programme information

Duration: 3 years (3 x 1-year placements)

Locations: UK-wide with potential European placements

Starting salary: £32,000 plus £3,000 starting bonus

Minimum requirements: 2:1 Master’s degree in an electrical or control and instrumentation engineering discipline, accredited by the relevant engineering institution

What does it involve?

Over three years, you’ll build up your professional engineering experience in a series of placements that could be in areas such as gas production and processing, electricity generation or electricity storage.  At the same time, we’ll support and guide you with structured development and the chance to work towards chartered status.

As one of our engineers, you’ll be part of a diverse, multi-disciplined team that is responsible for supplying millions of customers. So you’ll soon get used to working quickly and reliably under pressure, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to build the knowledge and skills needed to help us meet the great challenges we are facing in the future.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

We’re looking for passionate, creative engineers who can deliver solutions within tight timeframes, and implement them safely and successfully. Your work will often involve you travelling to remote locations, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
